Siwni is a small village of 153 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Siwni depends on SURAJGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 53.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Siwni is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Siwni's pin code is 333502[4], and village code is 00722800. The area of Siwni is segregated as 53 hectares irrigated area, 93 hectares unirrigated, remaining 6.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.
