Siswara is a small village of 304.3 hectares in Mahasi Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Siswara depends on Nanpara (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Siswara's pin code is 271902[4], and village code is 06452800. The area of Siswara is segregated as 426.53 hectares irrigated area, 29 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 61.7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Siswara is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2520 and has total administration over 465 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Nanpara (MB) and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
