Sirsal is a small village of 163 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sirsal depends on Nizamabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. The area of Sirsal is segregated as 124 hectares irrigated area, 2 hectares unirrigated area. the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 31 hectare area not available for cultivation.
