Early life and Education
Simona Maria Jesenska (born 5th September 1997) is an Actor/ Model, is professionally known as Simona J,was born in Michalovce, Slovak Republic, to parents Renata Jesenska and Peter Jesensky. Her paternal grandparents were Maria Jesenska and Juraj Jesensky, while her maternal grandparents were Eduard Mascak and Blazena. Simona has an older sister, Nikoleta.
She was born and raised in Michalovce, a charming town situated next to Laborec River in eastern Slovakia, Simona completed her elementary education at the Elementary Art School in Michalovce. she furthered her artistic pursuits at the Private art school, Capovcak, before attending Gymnasium L' Stura and additional classes at Art School Michalovce/ piano & singing. Simona also spent two years (2015-2016) studying at Comenius University in Bratislava- East Asian language and cultures, just before moving to India
Career
Simona J embarked on her career as a model in the year 2012, quickly gaining recognition for her work with esteemed brands such as Vogue India, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Cosmopolitan. Her impressive portfolio boasts collaborations with renowned productions, including Ponds, Lux, Moschino, Under Armour, Amrapali Jewels, Tanishq, Signe Vilstrup, Eden Tyler, and acclaimed photographers like Taras Taraporvala, Tryan George, and Tarun Khiwal.
She was also featured in a Music Video of Himesh Reshammiya named Deewana Dil Disco Karen in the year 2021.
Simona was also featured in a music video with Bollywood Actor Tiger Shroff in the year 2020 which was directed by filmmaker Punit Malhotra.[1] Simona's debut in Bollywood happend in the year 2025. In the movie "Badass Ravi Kumar" staring Himesh Reshammiya as Badass Ravi Kumar along with Simona J as Madhubala, which is an 80's Bollywood masala cinema directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies.[2][3][4]
Interest
Beyond modeling, Simona J's Passions encompasses a wide range of interests, including painting, fashion, videography, well-being, yoga, Pilates, and horse riding. An avid animal lover and traveler, she is drawn to exploring new cultures and languages. Her lifelong fascination with art has led to to the creation of her own fabric brand, SENSQI, as well as a production house, NOBU THE VISION, and a yoga/Pilates studio YOGATALK.SK .
