Silli Polytechnic is a Diploma in Engineering Institute established in 2013 by Government of Jharkhand. SILLI POLYTECHNIC is the first PPP (Public - Private Partnership) mode Diploma college between Govt. of Jharkhand and Techno India Group, Kolkata.
Location
This college is situated at the semi-urban border area of Jharkhand and West Bengal in district of Ranchi, Jharkhand on the Ranchi - Purulia State Highway. The College campus is approximately 7 km away from Muri Railway Station & 3 km away from Silli Railway Station. Frequent Bus & Train service is also available from Ranchi (State Capital; Jharkhand) to Muri & Silli.
Affiliations, Approvals & Certifications
College is previously affiliated from State Board of Technical Education, Jharkhand then afterward when Jharkhand University of Technology [JUT] is formed in year 2018 the college goes under JUT Ranchi. SILLI POLYTECHNIC is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and it is currently affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT) since 2018. Previously it was affiliated to State Board of Technical Education (SBTE) of Jharkhand. It is also recognized by Govt. of Jharkhand. SILLI POLYTECHNIC is an ISO - 9001:2015 certified Institute and is also certified by All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE).

Academics and Activities
Since its establishment in 2013, Silli Polytechnic have been successfully developing technically skilled students imbued with ethical & moral values along with a sense of social responsibilities. The Institute efficiently trains the students to contribute towards the development of the society, Nation and human civilization for the benefit of mankind as a whole. The College consists of Well-Equipped Classrooms, Laboratories with Advanced Instruments, Central & Digital Library, a Seminar Hall (for conducting Conference & Workshops).
Campus Life
Eco Friendly Campus: Silli Polytechnic campus is surrounded by trees and green hills. It is a pollution free area. College Authority, in collaboration with the Forest Department completed a project to plant more than 1000 plants and trees inside the college campus.
Ragging Free Campus: Ragging is strictly prohibited inside the campus of Silli Polytechnic. The College Authority strictly maintains Zero-Tolerance policy towards any king of ragging related activities in accordance with Anti-Ragging rules laid down by AICTE & Honourable Supreme Court of India.
Hostel: Hostel of Silli Polytechnic is “a home away from home”. The facilities provided are guided strictly by the sense of comfort and quality life for the students by providing all essential facilities to them. Food is available at College Canteen & Cafeteria, which are located inside the College campus.
Games and Sports: Silli Polytechnic campus is comprised of Cricket Ground, Football Ground, Volleyball Court, Badminton Court Etc. Indoor games like Carom and Chess are also available for students. Sports equipment’s are provided by College Authority whenever required. Various Sports Activities & Tournaments are conducted on regular basis to keep our students physically fit & healthy.
Security: Apart from the presence of College Security Guards (24 X 7), the Institute is also equipped with CCTV surveillance system in order to ensure extra security for our students.
