Silasan is a small village of 3173 hectares in Raniwara Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Silasan depends on BHINMAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 75.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Silasan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Silasan's pin code is 343049[4], and village code is 02336800. The area of Silasan is segregated as 219 hectares irrigated area, 80 hectares unirrigated, the 1218.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1655 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Silasan is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1896 and has total administration over 371 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BHINMAL and Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
