Sihi is a small village of 387 hectares in Azamgarh Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sihi depends on Mubarakpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sihi's pin code is 276406[4], and village code is 08691700. The area of Sihi is segregated as 344 hectares irrigated area, 19 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 24 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mubarakpur (MB) and Azamgarh to sell jaggery and make their living.
