Shyampura is a small village of 482 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shyampura depends on Ladnu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shyampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shyampura's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01759800. The area of Shyampura is segregated as 392.99 hectares unirrigated, the 35.93 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.61 hectare area not available for cultivation.
