Shyampura is a small village of 38 hectares in Kekri Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shyampura depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shyampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shyampura's pin code is 305404[4], and village code is 02543500. The area of Shyampura is segregated as 22.22 hectares irrigated area, 8.6 hectares unirrigated, the 2.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell furniture and make their living.
