Shyampura is a small village of 319 hectares in Baswa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shyampura depends on Bandikui, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Shyampura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shyampura's pin code is 303325[4], and village code is 01344700. The area of Shyampura is segregated as 57.11 hectares irrigated area, 99.67 hectares unirrigated, the 150.91 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.52 hectare area not available for cultivation.
