Shyampur is a small village of 1149 hectares in Mandrail Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shyampur depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shyampur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shyampur's pin code is 322251[4], and village code is 01239500. The area of Shyampur is segregated as 1.36 hectares irrigated area, 127.87 hectares unirrigated, the 129.19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 182.88 hectare area not available for cultivation.
