Shweta Avasthi (born 23 April 1994) is an Indian film actress, and a model who works prominently in Telugu cinema. She made her official acting debut in the Telugu film Malli Malli chusa (2019).[1]
Career
Modelling and Advertisements
Shweta has started her career with Modelling for Femina India[2] and won the Beauty pageant in 2014. She modelled for several brands like Chennai Shopping Mall, Gowri Silks, Jahanpanah Clothing Brand, Glamrs and Ibis (hotel) (Mumbai Airport hotel) and also appeared in Television advertisement for Garnier, and State Bank of India. She also worked as a Research analyst while modelling.
Films
Shweta debut as a lead actress was in the Telegu film, Malli Malli chusa (2019)[3] where she played the role of Swapna. The film is a Romantic Drama|romantic drama that talks about balance between Friendship and Love. Merise Merise (2021) was her next venture in which she played Venella, a small-town girl and a budding Fashion design who aspires to have a successful career before marriage.
