Shriyani is a small village of 453 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shriyani depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shriyani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shriyani's pin code is 301708[4], and village code is 00757400. The area of Shriyani is segregated as 154.42 hectares irrigated area, 211.6 hectares unirrigated, the 17.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 69.37 hectare area not available for cultivation.
