Shripura is a small village of 566 hectares in Malarna Doongar Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shripura depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shripura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shripura's pin code is 322030[4], and village code is 01288900. The area of Shripura is segregated as 513.98 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated, the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 41.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
