Shriya Lohia (born 7 May 2008) is an Indian racing driver who has shown promise in motorsports. She began her career at the age of nine and has completed five years in the field. Shriya Lohia was born in India on 7 May 2008 and is from Himachal [4][5]. She attended Indira National School Pune until the sixth grade and then converted to homeschooling because it was more convenient alongside her racing career. Shriya's passion for motorsports started at a young age, leading her to attend a racing school in Bangalore where she honed her skills on go-kart courses. Her racing journey has been supported by her family, including her father, Ritesh Lohia, an avid sports fan, her markswoman sister, and her entrepreneur mother. [8].

She attended a racing school in Bangalore, where she honed her skills on go-kart courses with complex curves and sharp turns in preparation for national and international karting competitions. The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) presented her with the prestigious 'Outstanding Women in Motorsports 2018' and 'Outstanding Women in Motorsports 2019' award in recognition of her achievements[2]

Shriya's racing career reached new heights in 2019, as she secured multiple second-place finishes in the Cadet division of the 2019 JKTYRE FMSCI IAME X30 National Championship[3][2]. Her determination and tenacity earned her the position of Vice Champion in the overall standings of the competition. Despite a weight disadvantage in her category, she won a fourth-place finish in the first round of the Rotax championship. This elevated her to the Junior division, where she continued to achieve commendable results with only a few days of practice.

Shriya's career reached a turning point in 2022, when her talent earned her national recognition. The prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar was presented to her by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, in recognition of her early contributions to motorsports[4][2].
