Shri Gopalpura is a small village of 220 hectares in Malpura Tehsil in Tonk district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shri Gopalpura depends on Malpura, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shri Gopalpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shri Gopalpura's pin code is 304501[4], and village code is 02600900. The area of Shri Gopalpura is segregated as 21 hectares irrigated area, 127 hectares unirrigated, the 45 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
