Shoupura is a small village of 130 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shoupura depends on FATEHNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Shoupura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shoupura's pin code is 313207[4], and village code is 03033200. The area of Shoupura is segregated as 9 hectares irrigated area, 69 hectares unirrigated, the 32 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19.58 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of FATEHNAGAR and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
