Shorash Baker (Şoreş Bekir born March 13, 1983) is a Kurdish singer from Syria. Shorash began his career in the 1996 when he appeared on small stages and local TV broadcasting in Damascus, Syria. Shorash baker is now based in Germany, Bonn. Due the war in Syria he continues his career in Germany.

Shorash has released several singles : “Megri Daye”, “Em Kina”, “Tu Dile min dishawtina”, “Buka mala me”. [1]

His song Fîstanê Sipî got half a million views on Youtube, alongside his Spotify[2] verified artist account he distributes his music on Soundcloud [3] for free as well.
