Shobhawas is a small village of 693 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shobhawas depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Shobhawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on River. Shobhawas's pin code is 344025[4], and village code is 02141300. The area of Shobhawas is segregated as 4 hectares irrigated area, 620 hectares unirrigated, the 50 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 19 hectare area not available for cultivation.
