Shobhasar is a small village of 3043 hectares in Bikaner Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shobhasar depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shobhasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Shobhasar's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00493600. The area of Shobhasar is segregated as 10 hectares irrigated area, 2122 hectares unirrigated, the 698.53 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 212 hectare area not available for cultivation.
