Shlomo Yehuda Be'eri (Born 1988) is an Israeli Rebbe, Posek, pianist, and composer.

From Syrian and Temani rabbinic families,[1] he is a descendant of the ARIZaL through his grandmother. He is named after his grandfather, also a rabbi.[2] Like Yosef Qafih, he grew up in poverty, and the community discovered his talent for learning Torah.[1] They gave him the nickname "Yanuka," a concept of interest to the Lubavitcher Rebbe and Rav Moshe Feinstein, alluding to a child prodigy.[3]

Like the Mishnah Berurah in the name of the Shelah,[4] he holds that, whenever possible, Jews should wash their hands before rising from bed in the morning.[5] He keeps a picture of the Rogatchover Gaon with him, inspired by the Rogatchover's appreciation of the Semikhah candidate who admits to a gap in knowledge:

He teaches that all of the world's major problems are caused by Lashon Hara.[6] He is critical of those who emphasizes retaining Torah knowledge over all other values in learning. In his opinion, the learning process itself is primary.[7]

He regularly receives visitors from the public.[8] His piano compositions are available on YouTube.[9]
