Shlomo Barak (Hebrew שלמה ברק) is an Israeli scientist.

Education

Shlomo Barak received his Ph.D. in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1970, advised by Shaul Yatziv.

Research

Barak's recent research, expressed in papers and books published since Nov 2016, is a paradigm shift. Space is all there is (nothing is alien to it), is the essence of his theory of the entire physical reality. “All there is” are space deformations and waves: the massless particles are straight-moving wavepackets, like the particles of light, and the massive particles are circulating wavepackets like electrons. This theory resolves many of the cardinal issues that have been left open and yields derivations and calculations that so far, no other theory has been able to provide. This theory is a Theory of Everything -TOE.

A TOE is a single, all-encompassing theoretical framework of physics that fully explains and links together all physical aspects of the universe. For many years, physicists have been trying to build a TOE, but without success.

The Derived and Calculated Electron/Positron Mass[1][2]

This result, out of many, published in Barak’s papers, is presented here to show his TOE isomorphism to reality. The current Standard Model of Elementary Particles and String Theory fail to provide such results.

Me = <math>{s^2\sqrt{2} \over \pi(1+\pi\alpha)}\surd(G^-1 h c^-3 ) </math>

s = 1 ([s2] = L2T-2)

Me (calculated) = 0.91036 ∙10-27gr

Me (measured) = 0.910938356(11) ∙10-27gr

Me (measured) / Me (calculated) = 1.0006

Work in the technology industry

During the years1971 to 1980 he served as the vice president for R&D in El-Op where he initiated, invented and developed weapon delivery systems based on pioneering laser technology, optics and ballistic computers.

In 1981 he founded Optrotech and served as its president. This company, one of the first startups in Israel, went public in the NASDAQ in 1984. It was the first to introduce an inspection system to detect flows in printed circuit boards and display panels. Barak was one of the first to incorporate artificial vision and intelligence in industrial machinery. In 1991 he adopted this technology to inspect electronic chips in their manufacturing processes.

In 1992 he merged Optrotech and Orbot (founded in1983), and became the merged Orbotech chairman of the board of directors. In 2006 he left the company to concentrate on his TOE, that he started in 1993.

Today he serves as an honorary chairman of the board of directors of Taga [30], a company founded and managed by his sons Amit and Hagai.
