Shivpura is a small village of 1322 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shivpura depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shivpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Shivpura's pin code is 343041[4], and village code is 02318300. The area of Shivpura is segregated as 175 hectares irrigated area, 1124 hectares unirrigated, remaining 23 hectare area not available for cultivation.
