Shiv Mathur is an Electrical Engineer by qualification as well as early profession. He worked in the Defence (Navy), IT, Telecom, Manufacturing, Healthcare sectors. He is also a spiritual explorer since 2015 and has done quite a few things in this domain as well.
He was born on 09 Mar 1966 in Varanasi, India. That was an auspicious day of MahaShivratri. He did his schooling in Kota, Rajasthan followed by B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Warangal (India). He got married on 17 Oct 1991 to Nandita, who is an economic teacher by profession. They have one daughter who works in Paris, France and is an animation/VFX artist.
He worked in the Indian Navy from 1989 to 2005 and retired in the rank of Commander. He also worked in IT and Telecom in senior positions in companies like IBM, Tulip Telecom, TATA Communications, Saudi Telecom, Juniper Networks and Reliance Jio. He quit his corporate job in March 2019. In his last job he was Asst Vice President in Reliance Jio looking after the company’s Network Security.
In 2020, He also uploaded a few videos on YouTube, of his conversation with a few realized Himalayan Yogis which became popular. He subsequently uploaded more videos about Meditation Philosophy and Spirituality. This was followed by converting all this scattered form of experience sharing into books. He wrote three books on Meditation and Spirituality during May-Aug 2022.
