Shilpa Dhar ( born 28 October ), is an Indian actress and model, who works in Punjabi Cinema and Indian TV industry. She appeared in many Punjabi music videos.

Early life

Shilpa is a Kashmiri Pandit, hails from Srinagar[1], Jammu & Kashmir. She finished her high school from St Marie's presentation convent in Dehradun. For her further studies she moved to Chandigarh and pursued Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Chandigarh.

Career

Shilpa embarked her journey as a model in Punjabi Music video in 2008, thereafter she featured in many punjabi music videos of famous singers like Lakhwinder Wadali, Kaler Kanth. She played double role of Sundari and Shoma in Oye Jassie, an Indian television series, on Disney Channel India in 2013.She made her debut in Punjabi Movies industry with Sirphire and then she appeared in Desi Romeos. She shared screen space with Jackie Shroff in movie Lucky Di Unlucky Story. She played the supporting lead role in movie Channa Mereya (Punjabi Remake of Sairat). She also featured in Gal Ban Gayi,[2] a five-minute Punjabi film offering a buffet of twists that are wired around the relationship of a Punjab-based brother and sister.

In 2019, she produced, directed, wrote, sung and featured in the track called JUNGLE JUNGLE [3]under the banner of Venus Music.
