Shikarwari is a small village of 157 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shikarwari depends on NATHDWARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 1.50% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shikarwari is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shikarwari's pin code is 313202[4], and village code is 03054200. The area of Shikarwari is segregated as 4 hectares irrigated area, 11 hectares unirrigated, the 15.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 126.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.
