Shiho Fujii is a Japanese video game composer who has been working at Nintendo since her debut. She is mostly known for her contributions to the modern Super Mario games and the Splatoon series.

Early Life

Fujii was born in 1984 in Hachioji, Tokyo, Japan. She started playing piano and Super Mario Bros. in primary school, and joined Nintendo upon her graduation from Senzoku Gakuen College of Music in 2007.[1]

Career

After Fujii joined Nintendo, her first credited work was Wii Fit. After working under major names during her first few years, Fujii herself would become much more notable, especially for her work on the Mario Kart and Splatoon series.
