Career

Awards
In 2017, Sheryll was one of the 15 recipients of the 2017 Woolf Fisher Award for Education and Excellence.[3] This gave her a six day Evolving Vision course at Harvard, as well as a ten week trip around the United Kingdom and Europe.[4]
Controversies
In 2008, Howick College pupil Ross Kimpton sleepwalked to his death on a school first XI rugby trip to England and Ireland. Sheryll maintained that the students were well supervised on the night of the event, although students were photographed drinking beer on the night of the event, after they were given the team money to buy dinner, telling them not to drink alcohol, which was against the rules of the tour.[5][6]
