Shergarh is a small village of 57 hectares in Nimbahera Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shergarh depends on Nimbahera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 40.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shergarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shergarh's pin code is 312601[4], and village code is 03666100. The area of Shergarh is segregated as 40.05 hectares irrigated area, 10.31 hectares unirrigated, the 0.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.99 hectare area not available for cultivation.
