Sheopur is a small village of 345 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sheopur depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Sheopur's pin code is 277216[4], and village code is 09296200. The area of Sheopur is segregated as 295 hectares irrigated area, 40 hectares unirrigated area. the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
