Shekhawas is a small village of 653 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shekhawas depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 308.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shekhawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell earthen pot and make their living.
