Dorsheka Javara Johnson professionally known as Sheka Johnson, is an African-American entrepreneur, business consultant, and philanthropist. She is the founder of High Status Consulting , a leading consulting and management firm known for offering professional training to individuals and helping them gain traction for their businesses.[1]
Johnson is best known for normalizing Black Wealth. She has worked with several prolific clients throughout her career, including Lovely Mimi from Love and Hip Hop, Cliff Vmir Celebrity Stylist, and others. She specializes in training entrepreneurs on wealth building principles. Johnson has built a reputation as a business consultant , coach and marketing professional with over a decade of experience that brings higher engagement, higher visibility, and improved ROI for her clients. She is also actively involved with multiple non-profit organizations and contributes to bringing a change in the community.
Early life and education
Johnson was born on 20 May to Melinda Johnson and Robert Carter. She completed her high school education at West Charlotte High School and then enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Later, Johnson also went to the Daymond John's Shark Academy. During this time, Johnson was an honor student, excelling in academics.
While growing up, Johnson was inclined to pursue a career as an entrepreneur and build something that she was passionate about. She also worked as an assistant at City Hall when she was 14 years old, helping people in Uptown Charlotte with multiple city projects.
Career
Johnson is the founder of High Status Consulting LLC, a consulting and management firm headquartered in Charlotte, NC. Johnson established this firm intending to provide consulting and coaching services to existing and aspiring entrepreneurs. The company offers a vast range of services including business consulting, personal coaching, skills training, marketing, management, PR, and others. Johnson is an expert in social media marketing, content marketing, advertising, strategy planning, higher user engagement, brand building, and other digital marketing services which she leverages to help her clients gain market traction.
Under the leadership of Johnson, High Status Consulting LLC has transformed to secure a strong position and works with several high prodile clientele. With this platform, Johnson has worked with corporations and individuals to diversify their sales channels, create brand awareness programs, and help them gain search visibility to get more traction.
