Hazrat Makhdoom Shah Sheikh Shoeib Rahmatullah Aleh (died 1402) was an Indian Muslim Sufi saint. Who discovered the second smallest district of Bihar, Sheikhpura district.[1][2][3]
He belonged to the Shaikh caste of Islam. He lived in Sheikhpura district which was surrounded by mountains and surrounded by forests. He destroyed the entire forests and helped the population to settle here.
According to a belief, he had lived in Sakunat Mohalla, Sakunat means a place of peace.
His tomb was built in Sakunat Mohalla of Sheikhpura, later that area was named Badi Dargah.[4]
