Shayne La Rosa is a New Zealand Businessman who manages the Shooters Saloon Bar in Kingsland, Auckland, New Zealand. La Rosa made News Headlines in 2011 when appealing for Business during an Adele Concert at his former brothel, previously known as the Auckland Establishment.[1]La Rosa made headlines again in early 2022 after an Album Release party resulted in violence and gunfire at his Kingsland Bar.[2]Shayne La Rosa ran for Councillor for the Local Waitemata Board in late 2022 as a member of RockTheVote. La Rosa ran an anti-vaccination campaign regarding the Covid19 vaccine mandates in New Zealand and his views regarding the purported sterilisation of Women by the vaccine.[3]La Rosa again made headlines during his Political campaign when his Kingsland Bar advertised signs celebrating the resignation of New Zealands Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern,[4] where he made comments to Media questioning the gender of the Prime Minister.[5]The Kingsland Bar managed by Shayne La Rosa was raided by the New Zealand Police in February 2023 where Shayne La Rosa was charged with managing an unlicensed premises which was used to consume alcohol.[6] He appeared in the Auckland District Court in March 2023 where he refused to enter a plea. He made a statement espousing the Courts did not have authority to prosecute him, and the case is ongoing.[7]
