Shawn Vij is an American businessperson and writer.[1]

Vij was born on August 6, 1969 and was raised in the US Midwest, metro Detroit area.[2] He received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University and a masters degree in engineering from the University of Michigan. He completed his MBA from the Krannert School of Management.

Vij has worked for global companies including Ernst & Young, VISA, Deloitte, Microsoft and Intel Corporation. He is one of the inventors of a patented technology called System for Personal Authorization Control for Card Transactions, which allows users to set credit card spending limits online.[3]

Vij is the author of two books Moral Fiber: Awakening Corporate Consciousness (ISBN 1619616300), which was published by Lioncrest Publishing in July 2017 and Moral Fiber: A Practical Guide to Living Our Values (ISBN 812651938X) which was published by Wiley Publishing in November 2019. The books have a foreword by Dalai Lama and are about core values and conscious capitalism in business.[4][5][2]
