Shaul Nekrich (16 August 1979) serves as the Orthodox rabbi of Jewish Community of Kassel [1] since 2015. As a Sofer he completed together with several dignitaries the Sulzbacher_Torah as a part of the Remembrance ceremony for the victims of National Socialism [2] at the Bundestag.

After being born and raised in Saint-Petersburg, Russia he studied in different Yeshiva institutions in Israel and the United States of America, mainly in Shvut Ami in Jerusalem and was ordained by it's Head Rabbi Eliezer Kugel.

Shaul Nekrich is active since 2007 in Germany. He led several Jewish outreach projects in the years 2007 - 2015 and served as the rabbi[3] of the State Association of Jewish Communities in Brandenburg.[4].

Shaul Nekrich is a member of the German Orthodox Rabbinical Conference [5]. He lives together with his wife and daughters in Kiryat Ye'arim, Israel.
