Shartric Boyd (born April 4, 1972), known professionally as Fly Shy, is an American music industry consultant, former rap artist, and author. He is known for his contributions to Southern hip hop, his leadership role at Peezy Tech Music, and his work educating independent artists on the music business.
Career
Recording Artist
He began his career in 1996 as a member of a bass-driven rap group signed under Atlanta producer Carl “Cooly C” Dorsey's Prophets of Rage/Ichiban Records (peezytechmusic.com). Boyd then pursued a solo path, signing with SEG/Break-A-Way/EMI Records (peezytechmusic.com).
Music Publishing

Transition to Executive Leadership
By the early 2020s, Boyd shifted to executive roles in the industry.
