Shankarpur is a small village of 141 hectares in Todabhim Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shankarpur depends on TODABHIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shankarpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Shankarpur's pin code is 322238[4], and village code is 01187100. The area of Shankarpur is segregated as 47.91 hectares irrigated area, 38.6 hectares unirrigated, the 5.1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.
