Shakkar Khawada is a small village of 733 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shakkar Khawada depends on Chaksu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shakkar Khawada is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shakkar Khawada's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01650000. The area of Shakkar Khawada is segregated as 87.68 hectares irrigated area, 459.51 hectares unirrigated, the 108.41 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 77.32 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chaksu and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
