He was only 23 years of age when he died.[1]
Village & Biography
He was from Birewala Dogra village[2]in Budladha tehsil of Mansa district after the news of death of sepoy in Indian Army Gurtej Singh (23) reached. Singh was killed in a clash with Chinese Army at Ladakh. Gurtej is survived by his father Virsa Singh, mother and two elder brothers. [3] [4]
