Shahanshah Manzoor is a serial entrepreneur, best known for founding Simpliv Learning, a Fremont based online learning marketplace. He currently serves as founder and managing director of Simpliv Learning. Manzoor has over 15 years of experience across different industries and right from the beginning he has been an advocate for education for all. To fulfil his desire, he has created a global learning marketplace to offer quality education at an affordable price.
Born in Bareilly, UP, Manzoor has a background in computer science and has worked in different industries which include information technology, business development, marketing and others. Under his leadership, Simpliv has created a space in the hyper competitive education market by offering universal learning programs that are acceptable globally.
In a short span of time, Manzoor has brought Simpliv as one of the mainstream education marketplace and has a team of over 100 industry experts in different vertices offering over 5500 courses. Early life and education
Manzoor was born on 12 July 1981 in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. Right from his childhood, he had strong inclinations towards learning. Manzoor attended Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, to pursue a masters of science in maths and thereafter he completed Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Bangalore University, Bangalore, KA, India.
Career
Manzoor during his career worked in the different industry verticals and decided to pick up entrepreneurship to fill the gap between people and education[1] . He started Simpliv Learning intending to offer quality and affordable learning courses for everyone. Simpliv Learning was launched as a global digital marketplace with its headquarter in Fremont, CA, USA that offers online training and courses on various industry topics[2].
Right from the start, he focused on creating Simpliv Learning’s interface to be simple and user-friendly that can help users find courses that can meet their needs[3]. Manzoor focused on affordable courses starting from $2.99 and even some courses at free. He created a team of over 100 industry experts with diverse experience to create quality courses that can be universally accepted[4].
After the official launch, Simpliv Learning was able to garner serious attention from users and quickly gained a market share in the education industry[5] . The courses are available in different formats including audio and video, and focus on all ages to improve learning and learn new skills. The company received positive feedback from users to help them bridge the gap between skills and people and was covered by a number of news publications[6].
