Shahadpur is a small village of 200 hectares in Mahwa Tehsil in Dausa district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Shahadpur depends on Mahwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 59.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Shahadpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Shahadpur's pin code is 321608[4], and village code is 01365800. The area of Shahadpur is segregated as 118 hectares irrigated area, 9 hectares unirrigated, the 13.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 60 hectare area not available for cultivation.
