Major (R) AIG Shafqat Malik (Sitara-e-Shujaat) is a Pakistani police officer serving as Assistant Inspector General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police where he is commanding the bomb disposal unit (BDU).[1] He is Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) certified and forensic expert. He served in the Pakistan Army Ordnance Corps in the Pakistan Army for 20 years as a commissioned officer and retired as a Major.[2][3]
