Sewaith is a small village of 190 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sewaith depends on Mau Aima (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Sewaith's pin code is 211013[4], and village code is 05413100. The area of Sewaith is segregated as 77 hectares irrigated area, 5 hectares unirrigated area. the 1 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 7 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mau Aima (Np) and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
