Serwa is a small village of 2699 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Serwa depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 959.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Serwa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Serwa's pin code is 344706[4], and village code is 02263500. The area of Serwa is segregated as 959 hectares irrigated area, 1545 hectares unirrigated, the 195 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Serwa is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2842 and has total administration over 453 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
