Semli Phatak is a small village of 1272 hectares in Shahbad Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semli Phatak depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Semli Phatak is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Semli Phatak's pin code is 325217[4], and village code is 03917800. The area of Semli Phatak is segregated as 83 hectares irrigated area, 700 hectares unirrigated, the 437.22 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 50 hectare area not available for cultivation.
