Semli Kalan is a small village of 458 hectares in Aklera Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semli Kalan depends on Jhalrapatan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Semli Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Semli Kalan's pin code is 326039[4], and village code is 04019300. The area of Semli Kalan is segregated as 57.74 hectares irrigated area, 108.77 hectares unirrigated, the 100.2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Semli Kalan is a census village in the district of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 321 and has total administration over 80 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
