Semli Chharot is a small village of 417 hectares in Gangdhar Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semli Chharot depends on Kolvi Mandi Rajendrapur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.18% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Semli Chharot is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Semli Chharot's pin code is 326516[4], and village code is 04118200. The area of Semli Chharot is segregated as 57.53 hectares irrigated area, 172.43 hectares unirrigated, the 142.48 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 45.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.
