Semarda is a small village of 719 hectares in Sapotra Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semarda depends on KARAULI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 71.68% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Semarda is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Semarda's pin code is 322033[4], and village code is 01235700. The area of Semarda is segregated as 71.68 hectares irrigated area, 227.68 hectares unirrigated, the 367.12 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.64 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Semarda is a census village in the district of Karauli, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2007 and has total administration over 390 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Karauli to sell earthen pots and make their living.
