Sehwaj is a small village of 1123 hectares in Marwar Junction Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Sehwaj depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 413.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Sehwaj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Sehwaj's pin code is 306103[4], and village code is 02444000. The area of Sehwaj is segregated as 481 hectares irrigated area, 222 hectares unirrigated, the 364 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 56 hectare area not available for cultivation.
